All of this with the added bonus of using no oil, making the air fryer a much healthier choice for anyone craving fried food.

Broccoli – Broccoli is the star of this Air Fryer Broccoli Fritters dish. Including broccoli in your diet is a great idea! This green veggie gives you a ton of fiber, iron, calcium, and more, but one of its best benefits is the high level of B6. Without this essential vitamin, our brains and nervous systems would not be able to grow and function. These fun florets have so many healthy benefits, but the best thing about broccoli is its flavor! It tastes earthy and leafy in equal measure making it a satisfying choice for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike.

Oat Fiber -Oat fiber helps bind these fritters together; plus, it brings healthy gluten-free fiber to these broccoli and cheese-filled fritters.

Parmesan Cheese – Parmesan is great for fried recipes because it crisps up nicely adding even more yummy texture to this dish.

Himalayan Salt – These rosy crystals are loaded with natural salty flavor and because it’s less processed than table salt it contains more nutrients.

Italian Spices – Fresh, flavorful Italian spices are a great way to add a lot of flavor with one ingredient, but if you don’t have this blend don’t worry. You can toss together basil, oregano, rosemary, marjoram, and thyme to make a quick substitute.

Lemon Juice – This added touch of citrus brightens up the flavor of the fritter batter making for perfect balance. Don’t get rid of the lemon, though, because you can use the other half for the sauce.

Egg – Egg is an amazing binder. It holds these fritters together and adds a little extra richness and protein to make the dish satisfying.

Low-Fat Mayonnaise – This ingredient is the base of the delightful sauce for these fritters. It has just the right balance of richness to tanginess to bring out the best in the broccoli. Low-fat mayo has no carbs so this dip won’t wreck your diet!

Garlic – Fresh crushed garlic brings a tangy, savory, earthiness to the sauce that cannot be beaten. Use fresh or jarred garlic to add both flavor and antimicrobials to this yummy sauce!

Italian Spices – Even more Italian pizazz is just what this dish needs!

Parmesan Cheese – Grated parmesan adds tangy aged flavor and a wonderful texture to the sauce with the added bonus of a little extra protein and calcium!

Lemon Juice – Citrus is the secret to great flavor; it balances out sweet and salty notes to make food complex and delicious. Use the extra lemon from the fritters for this step.
